I plan on having a more extensive page here showing the different views on aspects of prophecy. It will be a learning experience for both of us. I will try to explain each different view without showing any prejudice to one view. If I want to express my opinion, it will be in the opinion section.

Pretribulationism
The Rapture will occur before end-time events. This would be more than seven years before the second coming of Christ.

Midtribulationism
The Rapture will take place in the middle of the last seven years before the second coming of Christ. This view would deny the imminency of the rapture.

Posttribulationism
The Rapture will occur after the Great Tribulation of seven years, at the time of the second coming of Christ.

Partial Rapturism
Only those specially qualified will be raptured at the beginning of the last seven years and more raptures will occur as others qualify.

Premillennialism
Requires that a person interpret prophecy in the Bible in a literal sense. Assumes that there will be both Jews and Gentiles that are saved and will enter the millennial Kingdom in their physical bodies.

Amillennialism
Requires that a person interpret prophecy in the Bible in a non-literal sense. This view interprets that Israel is the church.
