From 1973 to about 1986 I was quite active in the Upstate New York Post Card Club. In 1974 the club decided to have an annual post card show. I was willing to produce the advertising cards on my small printing press for the first five shows. The fifth and final advertising card that I printed for the club was in 1978. Again, the same local artist as in 1977 created a nice calligraphic rendering which I then printed using my small printing press. Again, the cards were on thinner paper with no printing on the reverse. The cards were 3½" x 5½". I estimate that about 1,200 cards were printed. |
