Avis Greeting Cards & Collectibles, Chicago, IL Advertising post card

    This card was produced to advertise the new store that I opened on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, IL on August 15, 2009. The card was continental size (4" x 6") and was Dist. by Avis Greeting Cards & Collectibles, 1400 N. Lake Shore Dr., Chicago, IL 60610. The lower left reverse shows the number A001, indicating that it was the first advertising post card for this location (I forgot to include the earlier cards :-).

    There were about 5,100 cards printed. Four Thousand Five Hundred (4,500) of these cards were given away to nearby condominiums or postally used as a direct mailing to about 500 people in the Lake Shore Drive, Gold Coast area of Chicago. I would expect that finding a used card would be a challenge!
