Glens Falls, NY (Avis Cards) Advertising post card

    This card was produced to advertise the new store that I opened in Glens Falls, NY - after moving from Chicago, IL in December of 2009.

    The card was continental size (4" x 6") and was Dist. by Avis Cards, 9 Ridge St., Glens Falls, NY 12801. The lower left reverse shows the number A002, indicating that it was the second advertising post card for this business venture.

    There were 3,000 cards printed. In June of 2010, about 1,500 of the cards were distributed in the Lake George, NY area at various motels. About 500 were mailed to potential customers in Glens Falls, NY and the rest were given out at the store to customers with the hope that they would give the cards to others that were interested in the store.
