    This card was produced to advertise the going out of business sale of Avis Cards from October 1st - 16, 2013

    The card was continental size (4" x 6") and was Dist. by Avis Cards, 9 Ridge St., Glens Falls, NY 12801. The front of the card shows the front of the store lit up at dusk. The reverse contains text explaining the sale. The lower left reverse shows the number A004, indicating that it was the fourth advertising post card for this business venture.

    There were 500 cards printed on August 26, 2013 and were generally distributed to past customers and those who visited the store preceding the closing. These cards will probably be hard to find in the future.
