In 1977, I had big hopes of expanding my business to the two other local cities of Schenectady and Troy. The firm that I had purchased (Princlys) had several cards from each city, so I thought I would add one new card to the line from each city. The First Reformed Church in Schenectady is in the historic "stockade" area. The church was founded in 1680, however this building is from a later era. It is located right next to the oldest house in the city. The cards are 3˝" x 5˝". The publisher was Plastichrome® by Colourpicture. The card is ©1977 by Avis Post Card Co., The card number shown is P311244 and my card/stock number of 915 is shown in the lower left corner. 6,900 cards were delivered in the spring of 1977. |
