If you are really interested in post card collecting, this card should have special interest. I had wanted to have some of my business go to other New York State firms. Dexter Press was in West Nyack, NY; near New York City, and I tried to have a few post cards made by them. After this card was first printed, Dexter Press closed. The printing plates went to two firms: (I could choose who I wanted to do business with.) MWM Dexter in Aurora, MO was one, and the H.S. Crocker Co., Inc. in San Bruno, CA was the other. Most of my Dexter business went to the Crocker Co., in San Bruno, CA.

The cards are 4" x 6". I will describe each printing separately:

Card #532 (original) was published by Dexter Press in West Nyack, NY, it has a rough (deckle) edge. In the lower left corner is Dist. by Avis Post Card Co., the card number 86183-D and Photo courtesy N.Y.O.G.S. (misspelled by Dexter) Note that my card/stock number was not printed on this card. 6,600 cards were delivered on August 18, 1983.

Card #532R (reprint) was published by Crocker. It has a straight edge. In the lower left corner is Dist. by Avis Post Card Co., the card number 86183-D, Photo courtesy N.Y.S.O.G.S. and my card/stock number of 532R. At least 7,500 cards were delivered on July 9, 1985.

Card #532R (second reprint) was published by Crocker. It also has a straight edge. Everything is identical to the reprint above.  7,705 cards were delivered on July 9, 1987.
