During the summers of 1976 and 1977, I was trying to sell post cards full time. With relatives in the Schoharie County part of New York State, I thought that I would try to have a booth at a county fair - selling only post cards! I was particularly interested in the 1976 fair as it would be the 100th anniversary year, so made a special commemorative post card for the event.

    The cards are 3½" x 5½". The publisher was Dexter Press of West Nyack, NY. The card number shown is 33304-D. ©1976 by Avis Post Card Co.

    3,000 cards were delivered on August 23, 1976 (just 2 days before the fair began!)
