I think I just had a nice winter wood cut that I wanted to use in my printing press for a winter "Monthly Stamp $ale." For nearly two years, the regular location for the monthly stamp show was at the Roessleville Presbyterian Church Hall which held 10 dealers.

    The cards were 3½" x 5½". I used my eagle reverse imprint and stated: "Another special advertising card by Avis Stamp Company [»3] in brown ink.
